Conflict management by negotiation, intermediation, and mediation

This article aims to present the concept of conflict, its management and its solution through voluntary non-judicial means or arbitration. The concept of conflict is viewed focused on labor conflicts. There are indicated the labor disputes, the parties to them and issues that aim to be settled. There is an explanation of the role of negotiations in collective disputes and the consequences of not using them. The mediation and arbitration is introduced for the settlement of collective disputes. In the article is given attention on voluntary mediation as a means of settlement of conflicts, the role of mediator, its powers, the mediation process, the nature and effect of the agreements reached in mediation. A data is submitted to a working center for mediation on disputes referred for mediation and those disputes that are resolved by agreement. In the article is given attention to the rules of arbitration in Bulgaria, arbitration procedure, the effect of the arbitration solution. A data is indicated by the President of the Court of Arbitration at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the number of arbitration cases and the reason for their increase.
