The effective human resource management is viewed nowadays as а basic competitive advantage for the multinational organization. One of the most important problems in this field is concerned with defining the optimal balance between the degree of standardization and differentiation in the practices and policies for human resource management, applied m the different subsidiaries of the company. In this connection the material presents consecutively the approaches and strategies, used for human resource management in the multinational organization, as well as the basic factors, influencing the decision for standardization.
