The present paper is aimed at clarifying the nature of staff satisfaction and the possibility of its measurement. A model is proposed to assess the level of staff satisfaction in the trade enterprise and data from its application are presented. Based on the analysis of the obtained data, the relationship between staff satisfaction and sales volume has been investigated.
